JULY 2020: DON'T GIVE UP AND TRY TO STAND
Don't give up and try to stand.
Your tired i understand.
You may wonder when this will all end?
The scarcity of food and water, family bonds to mend?
You can visibly see your ribcage, tibia, fibula, patella and femur
This weakening pain is apparent and you cannot take anymore.
Your an example of many before you and now.
Your holding the imaginable arrow and bow.
You hit the target.
My heart and I prostrate on the carpet
The One who is Most Merciful and the Healer.
May He strengthen you and be your pain concealer
May He revive the dead hearts of those who do nothing.
May He give strengthen those who continue to more and even something.
Don't give up and try to stand.
Your tired i understand.
Don't give up and try to stand.

JULY 2020: DEAR CHILD

Dear Child,
In the midst of the poverty and wild,
Forgive me oh child as what I can do is limited.
Raising awareness, charity and duas submitted.
You have become an adult too soon.
You take care of your sibling with a comforting tune.
Mercy and Relief will soon come,
By His Grace, food will be yum.
Water and medical care,
We as humanity see you cannot bear.
Forgive me oh child as what I can do is limited,
Raising awareness, charity and duas submitted
Photos are heart aching
Our sadness are baking.
I wish I could wipe your tears
I wish I could remove your fears.
I wish I could hold you tight.
This period may be dark but in the end inshaAllah it will be bright.

(Image taken from Global Times)
Dear child,
Please do not cry
This is not a good bye
I am here by your side
The seas may separate us away but I'm close as a tide.
You lack the basic needs
And we will help you grow just like a seed.
Please do not cry,
This is not a good bye.
I understand your pain.
Your health issues is my aim and main.
I understand you are not the only one.
I understand it's our duty to be done.
Please do not cry,
This is not a good bye.
We are here.
Do not fear.
By Allah, our hearts are moving.
Our response to you is improving.

MAY 2015: BENEATH THE DEEP SKIN
Allah created us with different shades of colour.
We are all beautiful in our own way.
When someone makes a comment regards to your colour and beauty.
They are in fact criticizing the creative skills of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
When you make or see someone make fun of somebody's physical appearance.
Recall how beloved Julaybib RA was to Allah SWT and His Messenger pbuh.
This day and age, grains of pride have been germinated in a small minority of the Ummah.
People lose their self-esteem as a result.
They either darken their skin with sun rays.
Or lighten up their face with foundation.
Be you.
Let us look beneath the skin.
We all have flesh, bones and blood.
We need to focus on beautifying our hearts that reflect our characters.
When we become older, beauty will fade.
Even Allah SWT looks at our hearts.
Let the words of mankind blow in the wind.

POEM OF THE MONTH: 1st AUGUST 2014: The tears of the Ummah
Poverty. Homelessness. War. Orphans. Unemployment, Streets flooded with blood.
Where are you oh the leaders of this Ummah!
I search left, and right expecting them to come and help.
But I thought wrong; each looking for their ownself.
A strong breeze rushes through my hijab.
Can somebody hear me?
A voice responded reciting this Quranic verse:
“Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is the help of Allah?’ Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.” [2:214]

JANUARY 2014: Living in The West
Living in the West,
Is a Quest,
We were put on Earth for a reason,
We don’t know if we’ll make it next season.
It is important for one to keep his/her’s identity.
Adhering to Allah’s commands causes serenity.
Praying 5 times a day,
Dhikr on the tongue one would say,
Seeking friends that are righteous and good.
Doing good deeds as much as one could.
It is also important to be dutiful and help others.
For everyone including your muslim sisters and brothers,
Parents, siblings, children and the wife,
To live a peaceful, loving life.
Looking out for your neighbours,
Cleaning the environment from rubbish and papers.
One should ask themselves the purpose of this life?
Cars, parties, expensive holidays and a beautiful wife?
There is no point in us denying.
That when each day passes, we are closer to dying.
Everything around us was created from Allah,
We should thank Him every time we perform Salah.
This life is a test,
We should follow His commands and try our best.
No one said it would be easy.
Nor sunny nor breezy.
But we should not give up
Its like a half-filled cup.
You look at it thinking i can’t drink anymore.
But one should save it and try drinking again tomorrow.
Allah hasn’t abandoned us
So don’t make ‘i can’t do it’ fuss.
So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
