September 2019 - Farah
On 8th September 2014 you left me Farah my dear friend,
My love for you will never end,
You are a friend and sister,
Your departure gave me pain and blister,
How can I express how I feel,
Your friendship was true and made me happy like the flaps of a seal.
I still remember as if it was yesterday,
I was told you couldn’t move but when I came you felt my existence straight away.
You moved and held onto my hand
Only Allah will understand
How a friendship was so true
Me and you.
I couldn’t go visit your grave
Knowing that all I have left is memories and have to remain brave.
I promised I would not let go.
Fives years later, the Trust in your name still flow.
I wanted people around the world to hear your name.
To know what our friendship and character taught me, and not for fame.
Over 80 projects has been conducted since you were diagnosed.
As sadaqa jariya for you and Allah knows.
The community in the UK and abroad.
Knew how special you were and offered their support.
Countries in Africa. Middle East. America. Far East. Asia
UK. Europe and more countries counting are a pleasure.
Your smile was amazing.
Our friendship was real and glazing.
I knew you since I was in year nine
You were in Bradford and we kept in touch and that was a sign
We spoke, got along and never fell out.
Honesty was never a doubt.
Our mothers knew how much you meant to me.
It was clear and blue like the sea.
I hold my hands to Allah
That he will protect you and grant you Jannah
You and my mother helped me during my exams.
Reading, understanding and drawing diagrams.
You asked for me whenever I was sick
Distance wasn’t matter as our sistership was hard and thick.
You were an amazing daughter, sister, wife and would have been an amazing mother.
We used to have dreams that even our kids would love one another.
We both loved to help others.
You have disappeared physically like smothers
The impact you had on me and everyone will never be forgotten.
It is sowed on my heart like a coat with its button.
I stuck to my promise and will always will
So remain relaxed and chill.
You are in Allah’s protection.
His love and His affection.
Can I hug you once more?
I love you for His sake to the core.
Each year gets harder.
But I am optimistic and my love for you will always remain and protected with armour.
Farah flower,
I miss you by the second of every hour.
Life can be sometimes sour.
I put my brave face on as the pain is hard to scour.
Nevertheless, all I can do is keep your legacy alive
To remind others and myself to remain steadfast in the faith and rope of Allah and thrive.
Your smile will always be with me.
It will never flee.
I knew you loved children and setup a new sub-project besides Farah adult magazine.
This is Little Farah magazine releasing in November inshallah is in process behind the scene.
All these words took less than 10 minutes exactly to write.
This is just a small sight.
Of what you meant.
And sent.
With love,
Hafsa Waseela
Please make lots of dua for her, her family and everyone who knew her.
Please continue to support our upcoming projects Farah With Me

MARCH 2015: A GARDEN OF ROSES
A Garden of Roses.

Like no other.
I met and saw one of the roses 10/11 years ago when I was in Year 9.
We had an immediate attachment
She was the rose. I was the stem.
Some when viewing nature, they have a sense of happiness.
I saw this particularly with this rose as I look above to it.
Throughout the seasons, her colours shine brightly.
The rose was not like a typical rose whose petals died out in winter or any other season.
She was a rose that held its petals tightly having faith in Allah subhanahu wa taala.
A rose who will always remain a rose.
When suddenly Allah sent a strong wind; the beautiful rose held its petals together and flew away.
As she flew away; glitter was left behind.
The rest of the roses and other types of flowers watched her go.
I could not see the rose; but I felt her presence.
Tulips, Daffodils. Daisies all tried to comfort me as they saw my stem without the rose.
Nothing could fill the position.
I then saw other roses that looked just like her. Mother Rose. Father Rose and Siblings of roses and her Husband Rose.
Their character reminded me so much of the beautiful rose.
It gave me comfort, I then understood why the rose was so beautiful.
All due to Allah and the environment she was brought up in and her family ma sha Allah.
Their strength. Their imaan. Their speech. Their kindness. Their hospitality.
Mother rose especially reminds me so much of the rose.
Sometimes I felt like I was talking to the rose herself.
Marwa rose. Sarah rose. Basma rose <3 <3 <3
They helped me in so many ways that will remain between both families.

They were like a second family to me. We helped one another.
Do you know which rose and her family i am talking about?
Farah and her beautiful family. May Allah protect them, grant them patience and reunite us all with the rose in Jannah Ameen.

NOVEMBER 2014: Farah you are still with me
Farah you are still with me.
You have returned to Allah.
But you are still with me at heart.
Allah loves you more than any mankind.
He wanted you back.
This Duniya may be large.
But life in it is short.
We were created to worship Allah and do good deeds.
It won't be the last time I'll see you.
In sha Allah we will be reunited in sha Allah soon.
I remembered the last time I saw you as if it was yesterday.
I whispered into your ears; I love you.
Allah introduces us to people, some are blood, some are water and..
some like me and you, we may not be blood-related but we were in fact sisters.
As i'm typing this poem, a sharp pain hits my heart and tears fall roll down my face.
Because I wish I could hug you once more.
But I can't but in sha Allah our duas will reach you and Allah tests those He loves.
I named my cat after your first letter. Her names Fufu. She wants to meet you too :)

SEPTEMBER 2014: Loving for the Sake of Allah
Loving for the sake of Allah.
Love is a single phrase but its meaning is vast.
When love revolves the Almighty Allah, many problems can be weathered fast.
It forms a basis of our relations within the community, family and friends.
Great fruits can be harvested and brotherhood in faith never ends.
It is not by words, rather by good actions, aid and care.
Whether good or bad times, one would share.
Picture
APRIL/1ST MAY 2014: SISTERS

A sister does not only refer to blood

Where love flows like a flood.

A sister is like a God-given gift through Islam

Where the importance of care and love to one another is deeper than the Aswan Dam.

United under the banner of la  ilaha ina Allah Muhammad Al-Rasool Allah

Regardless of ethnicity, shape and size or however you are.

We also have sisters in humanity as we are the Children of Adam and Eve

Words cannot describe but I love you all for Allah’s sake.

You all sweeten my life more than a strawberry cake.

Picture
APRIL 2014: FARAH
A definition of a close friend and sister.
She never ever hurt me nor a blister.
Years of friendships.
Good times and being there at hardships.
We’re not always together,
Life sometimes keeps us apart.
But we're never separated
We’re in each other's heart.
Words won't express how much you mean to me
Even if I told you whilst having biscuits and a cup of tea.
Now your going through this test.
Alhamdulilah you are blessed.
For Allah tests those He loves.
In His remembrance, our hearts find peace more than in doves.
I wish I was there for you by your side.
I love you very much for His Sake large and wide.
Your miles away from me; but your in my heart and in constant dua.
You will go through this successfully by the permission of Allah.
You will fight back my dear; you will fight in sha Allah.
Allah won't leave you alone.
He sees you from His throne.
Like how He saved Yunus from the stomach of the whale.
Moses from the Pharoahs by splitting the Red sea and provided a walking trail.
Like how He saved Muhammad (pbuh) and Abu Bakr (RA) in the cave.
In sha Allah; one day you will give this condition a bye bye wave.
I wanted to do something even more practical.
So I sat down and thought more tactical.
and now I'm going to announce the surprise.
