The Desert Rose
Peace be unto you. The Desert Rose is a name that has been given to me. My name is Hafsa Waseela and welcome to my website where I share what I do in my personal capacity.
My aim in life is to help others and make a difference. Thus, charity work and helping in the community is fundamental and I work at grass roots levels to unite different communities for charitable causes, islam awareness, multicultural initiatives, empowering all and reducing poverty. I founded SOS Muslim Project, a voluntary, non-profit student organisation in 2011 - 2014 that had five bases around the world that provided these objectives. I was also a Former Marketing and Events manager for We Be Inspired organisation. This was followed by founding a charitable trust in 2014 called The Farah Saeed Trust as sadaqa jariya for a dear friend who passed away from cancer thefst.weebly.com

I studied my Masters in Cancer studies and this was followed by conducting several universities in the USA and the Global Health Training Centre in Kenya as part of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). I have worked in several hospitals and held lecturing positions in FE in the Midlands and assisted in teaching at several UK HE institutions.
